GENERAL FAQ

Made-to-order furniture/Backorders have a waiting time of 2-5 weeks.

We do not offer furniture disposals. However, if your living space is a HDB flat, you may contact your Town Council to arrange for Free Bulky Item Removal Services.

Yes, we work with several Interior Designer Partners and offer bulk discounts for large orders.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

  • Free delivery & installation for orders above $1000.
  • $85 for delivery & installation for orders under $1,000.
  • Additional $55 for wall mirror installation.

If you would like to avoid delivery and installation fees, we offer self-collection as well.

  • Self-collection appointments must be made at least 1 day in advance.
  • Pick-ups protection – The original invoice must be presented during pick up otherwise an authorisation message and an image of invoice must be sent before pick up.

  • Self-collection hours: 1pm to 7pm daily

You are responsible for inspecting all pick-up items prior to loading them into your vehicle. Home W is not responsible for any negligence or damage in securing furniture into your vehicle or personal injuries once our products leave our premises.

Once your order is confirmed and has an estimated arrival date, you will receive a link via WhatsApp to select your delivery slot.

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for change of mind as most of our products are made-to-order. Please make sure you have the right variations chosen before making your purchase.

INSTALMENT PLANS

Stripe payment. We accept all credit cards from most major banks – AMEX, DINERS, HSBC, OCBC and UOB.

This is our in-house goodwill instalment plan for those who wish to reserve any customised products before they are discontinued.

Mandatory first payment of 30% deposit. The following payment values and frequency can vary up to your preference. Please note that full payment must be made in order for us to deliver for this payment method.

WARRANTY

Home W One (1) or Two (2) Year(s) Limited Warranty for Furniture unless stated otherwise.

The Limited Warranty
Home W offers a one (1) year limited warranty covering structural manufacturing defects for all our products from the date of delivery, with the exclusion of Clearance and display items. Sofa frame structure is warranted for two (2) years against manufacturing defects for products used under proper household conditions. After the first year, the guarantee covers defective components but does not cover labour and transport cost.
If, during the warranty period, a product is deemed defective due to a manufacturing defect, Home W will repair or replace part(s), at Home W’s option. This Warranty covers the replacement or repair of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used. This Warranty is not transferable. If items(s) has been shifted to another address and is not handled by our professional delivery team, the warranty is not covered.

The following are not covered as part of the Home W’s Limited Warranty:

    • This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including (but not limited to) burns, cuts, scratches, tears, watermarks, indentations or pet damage.
    • Any product modification by consumer or other parties not authorised by Home W will void this limited warranty.
    • This warranty does not cover items purchased as ‘Clearance item / Display item’ at the time of purchase.
    • Home W’s decision on all issues relating to complaints on defects either of workmanship or materials shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at Home W’ sole discretion.
    • Any item repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty will be covered by the Limited Warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period only.
    • Mattress warranty are detailed within product description, usually up to 10-12 years unless stated otherwise. Contact us for more information.
    • In respect of manufacturing defects detected after warranty period, the cost of material components and replacement parts, with all labour charges and transportation costs (if any) to be covered by the Purchaser
    • Should the item be deemed to have a manufacturing defect at Home W’s discretion, Home W will offer the following where applicable:
      • Repair the defective product
      • 1-1 Exchange if beyond repair
      • 1-1 Exchange with an alternative item or receive store credits, should the product no longer be in production.
